Kilimanjaro Kids Care, restoring hope to destitute children


INTRODUCTION Having observed many problems that are of great concern to Tanzania, and having gone round in various areas of Kilimanjaro region, specifically Vunjo area, where we have spent time, we came to realize and singled out the problem of children who are not under proper parental care, not in school and not in any regular or structured organization as a result of deceased patents and / or displaced parentage.

	Taking Vunjo as a community case study, where the problem is rapidly multiplying, we realized that children have a right to basic needs of every child and that is what the community should know and address. The government alone cannot manage to give care to the needy people. Whether we like or not, this problem shall grow big. It is in view of this children beginning with constituency of Vunjo and District of Moshi and thereafter, to other Districts of Kilimanjaro region.
