VISION
The Kilimanjaro Kids Care envisages a society with clear conscience, offering opportunity for orphans and vulnerable children in Kilimanjaro to grow into responsible, happy and caring adults.


 
MISSION STATEMENT.
The Kilimanjaro Kids Care is a voluntary, not-for-profit sharing, non- governmental organization dedicated to protect and improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Kilimanjaro with respect to gender, through care, education and support with the involvement of the community and networking with other organizations.

 

AIM OF THE ORGANIZATION

The aim of Kilimanjaro Kids Care is to enable and empower the   orphans and vulnerable children so that they become self – reliant and hence alleviate poverty in the community.

 
OBJECTIVES
To establish children’s home in which children without parents or parental care may find shelter, affection, health care, education and counseling and guidance and obtain a better life.
 
To contribute and /or mobilize resources from different resource providers, be it moral, material, financial, human and physical resources to establish and run the children’s home.
 
To constantly identify the current problems effecting orphans and vulnerable children in the country and evolve and recommend measures for the solution of these problems.
 
To identify and research needs of orphans and vulnerable in the country and identify appropriate ways of helping them such as locating and building facilities for their care.
 
To assist in building children’s homes and play grounds in various operational areas of the region/country.
 
To receive donations from humanitarian sources including individuals and institutions
 
To undertake economic ventures to augment the income of The Kilimanjaro     Kids Care.
 
To consider all questions affecting orphanages and orphans attached to it and any legislation, by-laws or regulations relevant thereto and to initiate support or oppose thereto either by petition, meetings with relevant bodies and authorities or through any other appropriate channels
 
To apply for, buy and obtain, hire, lease and dispose of any property, rights, concerns and privileges and to enter into any agreements that may seem directly or indirectly conducive to the objectives of The Kilimanjaro Kids Care with any person, authorities, local or otherwise
 
To take steps by personal or written proposals, public meetings or otherwise as may deem expedient for the purpose of procuring contributions to the funds of the organization by way of endowments, donations, annual subscriptions or otherwise for the purpose of raising the funds of the organization.
 
To raise any money that may be required by the organization and secure repayment thereof on such terms as may be seem expedient for the benefit of the organization,
 
To invest the funds and moneys of the organization in such manner as the organization may deem expedient and as may for the time being be imposed or required by law and subject to the jurisdiction governing charity property.
 
Do all such things as may be conducive or incidental to the attainment of the above objectives in conformity with legal practice
